Three Secretes of Time Management

One of my friends has always a readymade answer for every work or proposal that she

“has no time”. She is a housewife and a mother of three children. She had hope that once her children will be grown up, she will have time. It has been passed for more than 25 years but her problem is the same. My other friend is a teacher and his problem is also almost the same. 

“I don’t have time” is a very common problem. Have you ever thought about where their time has gone? They have also got 24 hours as everyone else. The lack of time is not a problem at all, the problem is time management.

Three symptoms for poor time management:

1. Always in a rush and anxious about doing his/her work 

2. Restlessness and irritation 

3. They want to do so many things but cannot do because of the paucity of time.

If you or any of your near one suffering from this type of mental status, she/he has to care about time management.

Three tips for the time management

  • 1.     Do
  • 2.     Delete, and 
  • 3.     Delegate

1. Do

Organize all your work and distribute time according to there priorities. Please beware of your target. Your target should not be so tight. Because if you fail to achieve your target continuously then you feel demotivated and gradually surrender and will stop following your schedule.

2. Delete

After some days you will feel that you fail your schedule. Then identify what are those reasons. It may be your none-stop talking friends or relatives, your idle neighbor, unnecessary phone calls/chatting, unnecessary spending time on the internet/social sites, or unnecessary taking rest, etc.

Once you identified the disturbing elements of your schedule. Please focus to delete it. 

3. Delegate

Sometimes we overburden ourselves by extra ambitions or overestimate our capabilities. For example, if you are a student and you want to finish your syllabus in a very short time because you have to do some other work or you have already spent your time. If you are a housewife or working lady, you want to do work for every member of your family. If you want to earn more money and doing so many works simultaneously. Please, fix your priority and if possible, delegate some work to others.

 Apart from these three tips basic tips you need to use two more supporting tips:

4.     Care about your health and fitness

If you are physically not healthy, you will feel laziness and not sufficient energy to do work whole heartily. 

5.     Avoid negative thought and negative persons

Negative thought gives you negative feeling and views. This mental status slows the speed of your work.

Time is precious so use it wisely and save some time for yourself because you are most precious.
